Faced with rising labor costs, fast-food giant Wendy’s has announced a plan to replace employees with self-ordering kiosks in 1,000 stores by the end of the year. For over a century, women have fought for the right to get out of the kitchen and join the workforce alongside of men, to prove that they are equals in society.
Now that they have achieved workplace parity, they are going to take the day off.
Go figure.
