Gorsuch. Wow!

March 22, 2017 by Pops 27 Comments

Judge Neil Gorsuch

Watching the confirmation hearing for Judge Neil Gorsuch yesterday and today, one cannot help but to be impressed by his presentation. His calm, reasoned demeanor, quick wit, and humility are an amazingly refreshing breath of fresh air in the stench of America’s continuous political rancor. This is an incredibly talented and capable man, who represents the finest qualities of a jurist.
Dragging us back from the edge of irreversible pessimism, Judge Gorsuch shows everyone why America is great, and why there is hope for our future. He has integrity, compassion, and a brilliant legal mind. If this man is not confirmed, it will have been an immeasurable loss.

However, there is nothing certain in life. We will see how the vote goes.

Breaking News!!

CNN Reports:  “After hours of uninterrupted testimony today before the House Intelligence Committee, FBI Director James Comey shocked the audience by admitting the need for WikiLeaks.”

Comey admits the danger of leaking

In actuality, Mr. Comey asked for a short break so he could go to the bathroom.   But CNN needs the headlines, ya know?

FBI finally scores!

March 20, 2017 by Pops 27 Comments

Who cares about whether or not the FBI finds out who leaked secret information to the press?  Is Inspector Comey’s refusal to answer any questions about “ongoing investigations” really important?  Was the Clinton Foundation engaged in pay-to-play?  Is Trump a Russian operative?  None of this actually matters – in the grand scheme of things it isn’t important at all.

The big news is that today, following an intense investigation, our super-duper FBI announced that it had caught the rotten S.O.B. who copped New England Patriot’s quarterback Tom Brady’s jersey from the locker room following the Super Bowl!  Apparently, it was a “credentialed member of the international media.”    Lock him up!    (Damn reporters – you can’t trust any of them.)

Way to go FBI, it’s good to know that you always have your priorities in the right place.
