About Us

Analysis and review of subjects of current political and social interest, and opinions on those matters.

The title of this site, “Squat and Squabble,” conveys an acknowledgement of an interesting human phenomena.  For some reason, people just don’t seem to be able to engage in heated debates or launch vicious verbal assaults while they are sitting down. Think about that for a moment.  Try to recall – have you ever seen an acrimonious debate of ideas without at least one of the participants standing up?  Nope. It just doesn’t happen.

Here at Squat and Squabble we strive to present reasoned yet disparate arguments, on a variety of topics, and all respectful comments are welcome.

So come on in, cop a squat, and speak your piece.  In peace.

About Our Editors…..

“Southpaw” offers perspective from the view of a left-leaning millennial.

“Pops” offers a conservative perspective from the view of a baby-boomer.

Both of our editors are degreed professionals who endeavor to be well-read, informed, and unabashed in their analysis and presentation of their respective approaches to the topics at hand.  More often than not, what they have to say actually makes sense.

The editorial content of Squat and Squabble is derived from those sometimes heated discussions that take place at the family dinner table.
