A little kumbaya

Buckle up, because a Liberal is about to defend the Trumps.

I’m sorry, but is Whoopi Goldberg the last sane person in this country? The Trump family has been under constant fire since “The Donald” announced his candidacy. Barron was referred to as the “first homeschool shooter” by SNL writer, Katie Rich, Ivanka had her fashion line pulled from Nordstrom’s and now Tiffany Trump is being shunned at NY Fashion Week. I understand that people from all over the country have their own personal grievances with our President, but targeting his family is completely out of line. His children didn’t have any say in their father becoming our president. If anything, we can only blame his presidency on our own party’s complacency during the election. However, it seems that members of the general public are doing everything they can to make these people’s lives a living hell. Liberal “Social Justice Warriors” seem to be the most hypocritical party of them all. They consistently preach for the equal treatment and humanization of others, but seem to backtrack from that ideal as soon as someone disagrees with them. Throw politics aside for a moment and focus on the most essential truth: We’re all human. The moment where political opinion turns into disdain for one another is the point that we should all want to avoid. I for one am happy that Ms. Goldberg chose to outwardly do such a kind thing for Tiffany. To those who disagree with me, answer this one question: What did Tiffany Trump ever do except for have the same last name as her father?
